Woah! Did the year 2015 fly by this fast? I can’t believe that we’re stepping into 2016 already. This year has been so eventful for me that I don’t even know where to start. I made mistakes, I went through so much, I learned a lot, and most of all, I progressed in life for the better.
I turned 20 in the year 2015. And with that came lessons. What I learned this year will be discussed in the future post. Stay tuned for that. This post, however, is about what went on in 2015 in my life and in this blog. About this blog…most of the posts, I’m sure, will be “Oh, I’m sorry, I couldn’t update!” Bear with me 🙂
Let’s start from the start.
First of all… I got admission in my favorite university after much struggle. But all the struggle aside that paid off, I now study in the University of Karachi. I study my favorite subject, Psychology. All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with my educational life.
And the funny part is that one year went by so fast. Both of the semesters are gone with the wind and I’m growing up and it’s all so weird. In a few years my university will also be over and then job, and then oh my god… Where will I be in 2020… The thought scares and excites me all at the same time…
Secondly, I decided to not complete my novel at the moment because the length drove me crazy and the ending was a bit off putting for me. So, what I’m going for is a short story series. It will be completed hopefully in 2016 and will be published soon after! If you’ve been there from the start you probably know about The Undying Series. I’m still working on it, and have high hopes for it!
Then I was unable to update the blog frequently because my only brother got married. And we are Pakistanis. And I’m a Pakhtun, so our weddings, especially, last for weeks. The practices, the shopping, the wedding itself. All in all, we have a packed schedule for weeks. But Alhamdolillah, the wedding was bomb! The reception was perfect it’s still appreciated and recalled from time to time by the guests.
Then soon after the wedding, my mom and I went to Abbottabad for vacation. It was a fun visit really. We went to Harnoi, Nathiagali, had a track that we conquered and were breathing like animals by the end of it. It was just perfect. I enjoyed the cold weather there in June July. Here are the pics!
Then I came back realized that my attendence was short in Psychology and had 5 marks deducted in finals. Agh. I had so much work pending and it took me forever to catch up.
The I started my makeover services and focused on that. I created new looks and focused on promoting the page!
Then, drum roll please, I got admitted in hospital and had my operation for Appendicitis. Yay me! The doctor said that I had three attacks the appendix was about to burst, but I was cured in time. Alhamdolillah! So, yes, I didn’t die, I’m back with all my annoyance. 😉
Blah blah blah life went on. And It was the busiest year of my entire life. And it flew by so fast, and I learned so much. It was incredible.
